What are HACCP and GMP?
HACCP is a systematic and preventive approach to food safety from biological, chemical, and physical hazards in production processes. HACCP analysis aims to monitor and control hazards that can cause a finished product to be unsafe, and designs measurements that may be combined with GMP to reduce and manage risk.
GMPs, Good Manufacturing Practices, are implemented procedures and best practices undertaken to remove, reduce and control physical, chemical and biological hazards in the processing environment.
